Hi JOBnik,
first of all thanx for bass_fx.
when changing the tempo with more than -30% the sound starts to gurgle (like there were small gaps in the stream).
Is this normal or am i doing some thing wrong?

Hi ;D
Hi JOBnik,

You're welcome and thanks for using it :)

Yep, it's normal as BASS_FX uses the SoundTouch (http://www.iki.fi/oparviai/soundtouch) library for Tempo :)
As you can read here (http://sky.prohosting.com/oparviai/soundtouch/README.html) (in chapter 3 paragraph 3.4), the BASS_FX uses the
default parameter values :)

Hi,
is there any way of changing these default values, to suit for better sound quality.

when do you plan the next version?

Hi ;D
when do you plan the next version?
For next version I plan some updates, but I can't predict the release date, hopefully soon :)
-
Hi,
i didn't actualy expected you naming the release date, more i was hoping for a time span like 2-4 weeks or 2-4 months or more than 1 year.

It shouldn't take more than 2 months, but it might be less ;)

Hi Jobnik,
are you making progress in new version of bass_fx?
I am very anxious to see if tweaking the parameters will improve the quality of pitched or streched audio.
thanx

Sorry for a delay with update.
I'm now working on conversions of DSP effects to multi-channel support.
I'll send you BASS_FX with modified Tempo shortly to test :)

Hi Jobnik ;D
I hope you are well. :)
I have a question: will BASS_FX_TempoCreate support multichannel files (5.1) in the new version of bass_fx?
Kind regards ;D

I'm well :) Thank you :)
Actually I was talking about DSP effects, not including Tempo ;)
I've talked to the author of SoundTouch, but I didn't receive a positive answer... I hope he will change his mind :)
I will see with Ian if we could make some changes to support multi-channel files :)
I think next version will be 2.3 and not 2.2.0.2 as I've made a lot of updates and some API changes ;D
